Session 1: Administration
This Administration course is aimed at Market Participant administrators and will help you to understand the admin functions available in the CMOS Portal. The course covers the following topics:

  • Getting started (log on, navigation, log off)
  • Responsibilities
  • Available administration functions for: - User and certificates management - Contact management



Session 2: CMOS General Overview
This CMOS General Overview course is aimed at Market Participants users and will help you get started with the CMOS Portal.

The course covers the following topics:

  • Getting started with the CMOS Portal (log on, password management, navigation through the portal, overview available functions, log off)
  • Zooming in on Market Information: Search and view screens.



Session 3: Register SPID (Wholesaler)
This Register SPID course will help you understand the processes and transactions used in Registering a new Supply Point, from a Wholesaler’s perspective.


The course covers the following topics:

  • Outline process
  • Creating core Wholesaler data for a SPID
  • Adding Service Components
  • Adding a Discharge Point



Session 4: Register SPID (Retailer)
This course will help you understand the processes and transactions used in registering a new supply point, from a retailer’s perspective.

The course covers the following topics:

  • Outline process
  • Confirming Registration
  • Creating core Retailer data for a SPID



Session 5: Maintaining Market Data (Wholesaler)
This Maintaining Market Data course will help you understand how to use the CMOS Portal to notify the market operator when Premises, Supply Point or Discharge Point data changes. This course is aimed at Wholesaler users but the principles taught apply to both Retailers and Wholesalers.

The course covers the following topics:

  • A brief introduction of transactions and how to navigate to them
  • Maintaining Premises data
  • Maintaining Supply Point data
  • Maintaining Discharge Point data



Session 6: Maintaining Market Data (Retailer)
This Maintaining Market Data course will help you understand how to use the CMOS Portal to notify the market operator when Premises, Supply Point or Discharge Point data changes. This course is aimed at Retailer users but the principles taught apply to both Retailers and Wholesalers.

The course covers the following topics:

Session 7: Meters & Meter Reading (Wholesaler)
This Meters & Meter Reading course will help you understand the processes and transactions used in adding new meters and submitting meter readings, from a Wholesaler’s perspective.

The course covers the following topics:

  • Outline process
  • Adding a Market Meter
  • Adding a Non-Market Meter
  • Submitting a Meter Reading



Session 8: Meters & Meter Reading (Retailer)
This Meters & Meter Reading course will help you understand the processes and transactions used in adding new meters and submitting meter readings, from a Retailer’s perspective.

The course covers the following topics:

  • Outline process
  • Maintaining Meter Data
  • Submitting a Meter Reading



Session 9: Registration Transfers (Retailer)
This Registration Transfers course will help you understand how to use the Central Market Operating System (CMOS) Portal to apply to another Retailer via the Market Operator that you intend to have a Supply Point transferred from that Retailer to your organisation:

  • Submitting a Registration Transfer Application
  • Cancelling a Registration Transfer Application

>The course will then cover how to apply to return the Supply Point from the current Retailer to the original Retailer in the event that the transfer was believed to have been made in error:

  • Submitting an Erroneous Transfer Application
  • Accept/reject an Erroneous Transfer Application



Session 10: Tariff Maintenance (Wholesaler)
This Tariff Maintenance course will help you understand how to use the CMOS portal to upload and authorise tariffs.

The course covers the following topics:

  • Upload tariffs
  • Authorise tariffs
  • Search tariffs

Tariff Maintenance
This Tariff Maintenance course will help you understand how to use the Central Market Operating System (CMOS) Portal to create and update tariffs, set the tariff states and view timetables.

The course covers the following topics:

  • Create Tariffs (includes Tariff Data and Tariff Charge Elements)
  • Search or Find Tariffs
  • Tariff Timetables
  • Update tariffs (includes Tariff Data and Tariff Charge Elements)
  • Verify and Authorise Tariffs (includes Legacy)



Agreement Management & Historical Data
Agreement Management
This Agreement Management course will help you understand how to use the Central Market Operating System (CMOS) Portal to create, search, view and update agreements.

The course covers the following topics:

  • Purpose of the agreement(s)
  • Wholesaler, Retailer and Market Operator - Who does what?
  • Create agreements

Historical Data
This Historical Data course will help you understand how to use the Central Market Operating System (CMOS) Portal to compare historical data on Premises, Supply Points, Service Components, Discharge Points and Meters.

TCORRs, Meter Networks & Non-Market Meters
TCORRs
This TCORRs course will help you understand the general principles of TCORR transactions and how to use the Central Market Operating System (CMOS) Portal to amend data using TCORR transactions.

The course covers the following topics:

  • General Principles (TCORRs)
  • Maintaining Premises Data
  • Maintaining Supply Point Data
  • Maintaining Discharge Point Data
  • Maintaining Meter Data

Meter Networks & Non-Market Meters
This Meter Networks and Non-Market Meters course will help you understand how to use the Central Market Operating System (CMOS) Portal to add Non-Market Meters and how to create and maintain a Meter Network.

Reporting Overview
This Reporting Overview course will help you understand how to use the Central Market Operating System (CMOS) Portal and JasperSoft to navigate to, run, schedule and download standard reports. It should be noted that this overview course will cover what is available in Phase 2.0 and a further, more in depth training course will follow at a later date.

Remedy Service Management Interface
This Remedy course will help you understand how to use the Remedy Service Management Interface to manage incidents and requests.
